About Sophie Bryant
Sophie, previously a commercial disputes lawyer, was introduced to ‘hardstyle’ kettlebell training by her own personal trainer over 10 years ago. She went on to attain the demanding StrongFirst SFG1 kettlebell instructor certification in 2017 and has recertified biannually since. She qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2018.
Sophie established Sophie Bryant Strength & Movement in November 2023, with a group of just seven ladies training twice weekly in a small converted lounge space at her then home in Churchill. The SBSM community grew in a manner she could never have anticipated and, in March 2025, Sophie relocated the business to its current premises in Wrington.
Sophie has since been joined by assistant coaches Lucy and Cathlyn. Together they offer carefully programmed and fully coached small group personal training sessions based on StrongFirst training principles, a minimalist approach whereby strength is a ‘skill’ to be learned and developed.
